RNA activation (RNAa) is the phenomenon responsible for RNA based gene activation involving small RNA molecules known as Small activating RNAs (saRNAs) targeted against the promoter.

saRNAdb is the first attempt to integrate information of experimentally verified saRNAs, proteins involved in the process and their interacting proteins.

Database includes 2150 saRNA sequences and their complete information derived from literature, secondry resources and other softwares (like RNAfold) and data visualisation using cytoscape, jbrowse packages etc.
